The Original Film

Made through the Touchstone Pictures label, The Nightmare Before Christmas is the love child of Tim Burton and Henry Selick. Over the years the film has garnered a cult following so much so that Disney treats it like a cannon movie. All songs in the film were written by famed Burton collaborator, Danny Elfman.

Deleted Songs

Patrick Stewart was meant to provide the opening and closing narration for the film. He was replaced by someone else who then only gave an abbreviated intro to the film instead. However you can still hear the original narration on the soundtrack.

Sequels 

The Nightmare Before Christmas never got an official film sequel though it did receive a video game one called Oogie’s Revenge
