Lilo & Stitch - 59

The Original Film


The film contains two original songs written by Mark Kealiʻi Hoʻomalu and Alan Silvestri (also the film’s composer). It also contains five songs by American singer Elvis Presley, and two of his songs re-recorded by American singers.

Before The Emperor’s New Groove became everybody’s favorite meme filled film, the movie was titled The Kingdom of Sun and was meant to be a more epic sweeping musical based off of the Prince and the Pauper. Sting had written an entire musical score only to be completely dropped when the movie changed direction into a buddy comedy loosely based of The Emperor’s New Clothes instead.
